Microscopy
This site is still under construction !
For over 45 years microscopy has been one of my many hobbies.
At the moment I work with an Trinokular Olympus CX-31 which I have converted into a CX-41 !
I manly work with transmitted-light, reflected ligh, Phasecontrast, Darkfield, Polarization and Oblique illumination
I'm very lucky. I was able to find an used Isolation OS Float Table that fits exactly with my Olympus microscope. Now I can bump against the table without wobbles in the microscope image. Since I live in the city vibrations are the norm by the heavy traffic, that was a problem until now...
An optical stage is a device used to hold the elements of an optical system in a mechanically stable manner. Its top is characterized by great rigidity. Unlike an optical bench, an optical table does not have a preferred one-dimensional axis, but a preferred two-dimensional plane.
Its an optical stage!

I am very interested in everything that exists in water, but of course I also observe everything that fits under the microscope!
